How to use

Made with egg whites, butter, sugar and flour, these cookies are ideal to accompany tea, for a light break, or to taste creams, puddings and ice creams.

Recipe

Lingue di gatto – Dark Chocolate Ice Cream

Ingredients

140g of dark chocolate
30g of bitter cocoa
1 egg
80g of sugar
200g of fresh cream
200ml of milk
Lingue di gatto
Chocolate sauce to decorate.

Guidelines

In a saucepan heat half the cream, without bringing to a boil, and pour it on the chopped chocolate.
Stir until smooth and let cool.
In a bowl beat the eggs with sugar; add the cocoa, the remaining cream and milk. Mix well and add the melted chocolate.
Place again on the heat and cook for a couple of minutes over low heat. It will be ready as soon as the sugar has completely dissolved.
Let it cool. Pour it into the ice cream maker and follow the instructions of your appliance.
Serve with Lingue di gatto and a good chocolate sauce.
