How to use

Ortolana goes perfect over pasta, as a base for the vegetarian lasagna or create a mouth-watering garden vegetable tomato dip to pair with fresh bread/breadsticks. Since it is a recipe with different vegetables, we also recommend using it with our Antica Madia colored pasta in order to enhance the different ingredients and textures

Recipe

Pappardelle alla Ortolana (vegan option)

Ingredients

400 g pasta
2 pinches salt
1 jar of Ortolana Sauce
1 zucchini
1 peppers
1 eggplant
5 green olives

Guidelines

Bring enough water to the boil to cook the pasta.
Once it reaches the boil, cook the pasta leaving it al dente, drain it directly into the pan where you are cooking the Ortolana sauce.
Sauté the pasta alla boscaiola for a few seconds to add flavour.
we recommend boiling and dicing the fresh vegetables to add at the end of the preparation in order to give a personal touch to the perfect recipe for a balanced and vegetarian dinner.
